Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have resumed buying Indian equities with a net purchase of INR87.67bn ($1.07bn) in the first half of April, according to National Securities Depository data. As a result of FPI buying, the Nifty 50 has risen 2.7% in the first half of April.
